It all really starts there. If you don't believe in yourself, and continue to go around vocally pitying yourself to anyone who will listen, people will begin to distance themselves from you. So, as cheesy as it sounds, it most certainly starts and ends with you. It also applies to business in the sense that if you show self doubt in more ways than one, people aren't going to feel inclined enough to trust whatever it is that you happen to be offering.
