Dongfang Qingcang and Lord Changheng/Xiao Run Fan Art coming soon!

Xiao Run/Lord Changheng and Dongfang Qingcang.  Artwork by Two_ii

Alright, I've just gotten started on Part II of my "Love Between Fairy and Devil" anime fan art collection, artwork illustrated by Two_ii.  This particular illustration is in reference to the scene where Dongfang Qingcang and Lord Changheng are in the mortal world.  Lord Changheng is in mortal form, and does not remember his life in the Shuiyuntian realm.  Whereas Dongfang Qingcang is fully conscious of where he is, and is very purposeful on what he is intending to do.

Because Xiao Run has no recollection whatsoever of the Shuiyuntian realm, he profoundly admires Dongfang Qingcang, and follows him around everywhere.  Insisting on the two being the best of friends.  It is an idea that is extremely abhorrent to Dongfang Qingcang, but in order to move his agenda forward, he decides to attempt to be his friend.  I don't necessarily feel that he's pretending because toward the end of their journey in the mortal world, you do see Dongfang developing a little bit of a friendly bond, but due to political and cultural baggage, there is a lot of reservation on his part.  So, this piece of fan art is from the specific scene where they ditch school to play Kickball. The antics they engage in within this scene are actually quite hilarious, as Dongfang Qingcang reluctantly becomes Xiao Run's friend.
