I got a brand new bracelet from Sino Fun, which is based on the Bone Orchid bracelet from "Love Between Fairy and Devil." In the show, the bracelet is a gift from Dongfang Qingcang to Orchid. Its purpose is to protect her during times when he can't be there to fulfill the role.
This bracelet is really special to me for a number of reasons. I had a different, unrelated bracelet that I wore often, which broke, so I was looking for something new and a little more solid. Something that was associated with any of my interests, instead of something generic.
While watching "Love Between Fairy and Devil," I really liked this bracelet. I thought it was pretty, and I thought the intention behind it was beautiful. Watching the love develop between Dongfang Qingcang and Orchid was amazing, sometimes heart wrenching, and I really wanted this bracelet because this is one of those shows that really sticks with you. I didn't want it to end! Additionally, I feel very pretty when I wear this bracelet, and it complements my 한복, 비녀, and hairpins really well. My arm was feeling a bit bare, and while I'm not a huge fan of western jewelry, I have found I really love Korean and Chinese hairpins, in addition to Korean and Chinese bracelets, necklaces, and rings. The appearance of all of it just complements my personality a bit more than the usual Western jewelry.
This also came with some "Love Between Fairy and Devil" pictures, which I of course hung on my wall immediately!
