More Fan Art in Progress for Love Between Fairy and Devil

So, this project is moving right along rather smoothly.  I am incredibly satisfied with my artist, Two_ii who has consistently been delivering great work, and going above and beyond what is asked.  I cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciate that.  The particular fan art shown above is from my favorite scene in Episode 9 when Orchid's identity as a fairy cannot be verified, so she is unfairly accused of being a spy for the Moon Tribe.  Therefore, without further fan fare, the powers that be choose to execute her.

This is where Dongfang Qingcang comes in and decides that it isn't happening.  Not now, not ever; and even though he doesn't have all of his emotions yet (we see later on that sprouts are indeed forming on his emotion tree, therefore, he is not just simply mirroring Orchid's, though the mirroring certainly remains dominant at this time), he chooses to risk it all and protect her.  Though he arrogantly assumes that no one else can touch him, but he gets somewhat of a reality check in later episodes.  Because this is one of my favorite scenes, I went out of my way to make sure we had an excellent view of both the characters, and that those awesome wings of his were present in full splendor in this picture.  His wings are one of my favorite parts about him, and I certainly wish they had been used more often.  They were one of many things that made him very sexy.  Hey, I just tell it how I see it!  And you'll come to notice that the fan art I select skews toward empowered women and sexy men.  Sexy women are way overdone, it's time to swing that door the other way!

In this case, it doesn't bother me that he "rescued" her because it aligns with their character traits, and internally, she is rescuing him many times over.  The restoration of the emotion tree is a great case in point. It's all about balance and plausibility.   I just loved the impact, colors, and dialogue of this scene.  I still watch the Youtube clip of it many times over.

This next image of Chidi Nvzhi, the first god of war, was the first fan art in this series I had commissioned. She is the original god of war who sacrificed herself in order to subdue Dongfang Qingcang 30,000 years prior, which is why Orchid is constantly rescuing him internally.  Because Lord Rong Hao is devastated by her death, he makes a deal with the evil spirit Tai Sui to ressurect her, even though she specifically does not him to do so.
