Butterfly Fairy 2 Piece 한복 set Complete!

The "Butterfly Fairy" is finally complete.  It is a two piece 한복 set consisting of a hip length 저고리 and ankle length 치마.  It is a size M, and will fit up to a 34-C Cup Bra Size.  The 저고리 is 100% Polyester, and made from a repurposed curtain.  The 치마 is 100% cotton made from a repurposed and thoroughly cleaned Ralph Lauren bedsheet.  Keep in mind, with repurposed materials, there are going to be unintended blemishes on the fabric.  However, the plus side is that fabric isn't being wasted, it's being reused.  It's very common in the fashion industry to waste A LOT of fabric.  Fabric that could easily be going to discount stores, thrift stores, etc. that people with a lower budget can easily use for creative purposes.

치마 is a little bit different than most, as we have full and sturdy coverage on the back, breasts, and shoulders. It is slightly asymmetrical, but the skirt length remains the same, and the 저고리 hides that. With the full and sturdy coverage on shoulders, back, and breasts, this can easily be worn separately as a sun dress or a tasteful and stylish swimsuit coverup. It also ties in the front for easy wear.  No more fussing around the back, no more trying to smoothly fit the ties through a slot.  Just tie in the front, and you're good!

Some 치마 styles button on the inside.  At 사극 Paradise, they tie on the inside for flexibility. Because as women there are some days where we may be a little more bloated than others.  The inner tie allows for some flexibility, so you don't need to feel bad about yourself on a "fat day."  Heck, the one woman design team at "The Flower Realm by 사극 Paradise" is now completely unaware of when her "fat days" are because the 한복 is just that forgiving on the body, which is why more women are encouraged to  wear them.

Sewing on the outer ties.  Just like with the inner ties, the outer ties allow for more flexibility in fit.  Therefore, no more concerns about "fat days" or "fat pants" for that matter.  Just wear a 한복 on a daily basis, and all body image concerns will disappear.

As you can see, the back is riding up close to the waist area, meaning it's too tight.  So, it needs to be opened up.  Generally, the one woman design team at "The Flower Realm by 사극 Paradise" prefers to "get it right the first time," and be "one and done."  However, trying to work around that is impossible.
