"Ruby Fairy" 한복 set, Size M

"Ruby Fairy" 한복 set, which is the 저고리 and 치마, Size M.  Size M will fit up to a 34-C Bra Cup.  The 저고리 is made from repurposed, sheer, embroidered Polyester.  The 치마 is made from Red repurposed polyester.  The 치마 is a little different from most 치마, in that instead of tying at the back, it ties at the front, as shown in the image below.

I have it open and tie at the front simply because it's easier than fumbling around in the back, or having to fiddle around with slots in the top.  Plus, when you're on the Beach in Hawaii, it's a very classy swimsuit cover up.

Now with all of that out of the way, here's the story behind this outfit.  I love going to the Thrift Store to find really interesting fabrics.  As I said in a previous post, because there are older women with huge fabric stashes who no longer want them, you can find some really great material over there.  So I tell people, don't knock the thrift store.  I have found high quality silks, satins, and linens while paying a fraction of the price.  I love it.

This particular design I came up with because I love the trend of transparent 저고리, and I love the use of embroidery.  So I thought it would make a really nice looking top.  For the 치마, I don't have very many pieces in red, so I wanted to do a little more with it.  And that is how the "Ruby Fairy" was born.  I don't have this piece listed on the website yet, but I am planning on making major edits next week, which includes adding this piece.  In the mean time, you can view my other pieces at The Flower Realm By 사극 Paradise.
