American Perspectives: Ma Zhaixing Leading out of Anger and Revenge ("The Wolf" Ep.29)
And I completely understand! When you have experienced that kind of deception from someone you thought was the love of your life, you're probably going to be out for blood. (Or, at the very least write it out in your journal). If you're not able to effectively communicate with the one who harmed you, everyone who happens to be near you is going to be on the receiving end of your wrath. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned indeed.
Ma Zhaixing wants to lead the Ma Family troops, go to war, and vaporize Prince Bo. Because she is feeling so hot headed and vindictive, the King of Jin won't have an audience with her. The King of Jin is in favor of minimal bloodshed, while Ma Zhaixing is ready to annihilate.
She is relentless to the point that she disregards the king, and over trains her troops. Ji Chong, her most trusted friend at this point, isn't having it, and he throws her in the water trough. Ma Zhaixing is understandably livid (I would be, too), however, Ji Chong and her friends are able to get her to understand why a war driven by her anger and desire for vengeance over a bad break up with Prince Bo is a colassally bad idea. She is able to cool off and understand, but not without also throwing Ji Chong in the water trough. (Well, he did embarass her, and I think it's only fair that she return the favor).
