Let's go ahead and appreciate this beautiful moment of Prince Bo shirtless on behalf of Blanche Deveraux from "The Golden Girls." She would have been so thrilled, and she probably would have gotten his phone number on our behalf. And they say women aren't visual creatures! I learned from watching both the K-Dramas and the C-Dramas that women most certainly are visual creatures, American society just happens to avoid the female gaze like the plague.
At this point, Ma Zhaixing is beginning to recognize Prince Bo as Wolf Boy, even though he continues to passionately deny it. His emotions toward her are mixed, as he still cares about her 8 years later, but he is also intensely angry with her. To add insult to injury, he is also responsible for assassinating her family, so this definitely isn't a good start for anyone.
Ma Zhaixing overhears a conversation between Prince Bo and his physician about his scars, which immediately piques her curiosity, as Wolf Boy had a scar on his shoulder. Without thinking, she barges into the room to take a look, and voila! There he is, partially shirtless. Fully shirtless would have been ideal (women are visual creatures, too), but we take what we can get!
We get another beauteous glimpse of him (partially) shirtless in Episode 6 when his wound has opened up, and Ma Zhaixing wants to help. She is very self conscious about seeing him (partially) shirtless this time around because he doesn't hide the anger he has been feeling toward her, even though he continues to deny that he's Wolf Boy.
