American Perspectives: Transitioning from Wolf Boy to Prince Bo ("The Wolf" Ep 3)

From Sweet and Innocent to Icy and Vindictive

And what a hot transition it is!  I don't mind it in the least, and I kind of wish they had made a calendar of "The Wolf" that would make Blanche Deveraux proud.  Due to being saved by the cunning Emperor of Yang, he went from Innocent Wolf Boy to the very vindictive, but very sexy Prince Bo.

When we see him again, he looks ominous in all black on his well armoured horse, surrounded by wolves.  One look at his face, and you know he isn't playing.  I am impressed with this transition, as Wolf Boy and Prince Bo are played by the same actor.  They could have easily used two different actors. 王大陸/Wang Talu did a great job being innocent, and an even better job being menacing and ominous (which I feel is where his acting his strongest).  He is able to successfully be two totally different people.  

He has definitely held on to his hostility toward Ma Zhaixing, and the Emperor of Yang has been using that to his full advantage.  They have not met again, and it is 8 years after what Prince Bo thought was Ma Zhaixing's betrayal.  They will be meeting soon, and the outcome is going to get interesting.  Interesting being a huge understatement.  This is when Ma Zhaixing's karma comes to a head, and where Prince Bo's bad karma begins.
