American Perspectives: Ning Que encouraging Sang Sang to have a Life Goal "Ever Night" Ep. 52 response

In Episode 52, some people from Xiling come to Tang with the intent to bring Sang Sang back to Xiling to fulfill her duties as the Grand Priest of Light.  She doesn't want to go. She wants to stay by Ning Que and marry him. They inform the couple that a marriage will not conflict with her duties.  She is still feeling extremely reluctant.

What I like is that Ning Que lets her know that he wants her to have a life's goal.  Which is good because it will help in equalizing their relationship dynamic, or at the very least, make it more balanced.  Otherwise, with her as maid, and him as master, it doesn't bode well for the relationship dynamics.

She finally decides that she will fulfill her duty as the Grand Priest of Light in 3 years.  I am wondering if it is her calling to balance out light and dark.  I am still pretty positive that she is the Child of Hades.  This drama has been showing that the so called Demonic people are actually more open minded toward others, while the supposedly pure and virtuous Xiling are very exclusionary and judgmental.
